WomenCraft

WomenCraft is a design-led social enterprise based in Ngara, Kagera, in the north-west of Tanzania on the tri-border with Burundi and Rwanda.
By combining heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design, we co-create, make and sell handwoven home décor, furniture and lighting by collaborating with artisans from Tanzania and Burundi.
Through WomenCraft, over 600 artisans advance themselves, raise stronger families, stimulate their communities and inspire the world around them.
