Womencraft

WC Artisan Collection (Womencraft) is a social enterprise based in north-west Tanzania, working with 600 Tanzanian and Burundian artisans, including refugee returnees. Since 2007, we have been creating home décor in natural grasses and upcycled materials using traditional weaving techniques. In 2023 we partnered with French designer Emmanuel Babled to launch a woven furniture collection, and we are now co-developing a new collection with Burundian artisans to debut this Christmas.
